Binance Beats the SEC, Still Doesn’t Deserve Your Trust (Or Your ETH)

So… Binance is popping champagne and tossing confetti today because the SEC just dismissed their lawsuit, and according to them, it’s a “big win for crypto.” You know, kinda like when you get away with “allegedly” running an unlicensed casino, then tell the public you’re a trailblazer of innovation. Cute.

Binance’s official statement reads like it was copy-pasted from a PR firm that got paid in Shiba Inu tokens:

“This legal decision is a signal to the world: The U.S. is serious about innovation again.”

Right. Just like Binance has always been serious about regulations… oh wait.

📜 A Brief History of the Binance Licensing Lie

Let’s not forget: Binance has been operating without a financial license since day one. At one point, they were even flexing a fake license from Cyprus. You know, for credibility. Like saying, “Trust me, I’m a doctor,” and handing someone a degree printed on a Chipotle napkin.

You’d think being under constant legal fire in the U.S., U.K., Japan, Canada, and half of Europe would give them pause. But no. They just rebrand, spin, and launch another coin no one asked for.

Let me get personal for a second.

Someone jacked 1 ETH from my MetaMask wallet. It wasn’t even a fancy hack — just a good old-fashioned human error, probably a shady site and a weak moment. But where did the stolen funds end up?

Binance.

I tracked it. I reported it. And guess what happened?

Binance: “Get your local police involved.”
Me: Gets police involved, files case, sends documentation.
Binance: Closes my account and stops replying to emails.

They froze what was left of the funds, probably donated it to their quarterly “Oops We Messed Up” budget, and moved on like nothing happened. Thanks for the trauma, CZ. I’ll just cry into my cold storage wallet.

🧠 But Hey, It’s a Win for “Innovation”

Let’s be real — this SEC dismissal has nothing to do with crypto getting safer or more legitimate. It’s about politics. Trump’s back in office, the winds are blowing toward deregulation, and Binance just happened to be in the right place at the right time. It’s less a victory and more a bureaucratic shrug.

Also, let’s not forget this is the same exchange that:

Inflated trading volume like it was Dogecoin in 2021
Listed obvious security tokens and acted surprised when regulators noticed
Pretended not to be operating in the U.S. while absolutely operating in the U.S.

And now they’re being praised for… what exactly? Dodging consequences?

🪙 The Real Innovation? Bitcoin. Still.

You want to celebrate something real? Celebrate Bitcoin. No pre-mine. No centralized CEO with a god complex. No fake licenses. No rug pulls. Just pure, decentralized, open-source monetary freedom — the way it should be.

Sure, Bitcoin has its own challenges — but at least it doesn’t ghost users after freezing stolen funds or pretend it’s a registered financial entity in 72 countries it’s never been to.

Binance might’ve beat one lawsuit. But trust? Integrity? User respect?

That case is still wide open.
